After being abandoned minutes before their wedding, Nico writes a letter to his former fiancée Charly in which he predicts she will have a lonely and joyless life. Years later, the two are reunited at a wedding, where Charly sets out to disprove Nico’s letter over a weekend of partying, revelations, hookups, and the threat of a hurricane.

In 2012, Charly leaves Nico minutes before getting married and moves to another country. A broken-hearted Nico writes her a letter in which he predicts that she will live a lonely and joyless life. Ten years later, fate reunites them at the wedding of Rocío (Charly's best friend) and Diego (Charly’s brother). Nico has a new girlfriend and is now something of a life coach who teaches men to embrace pains of the heart, while Charly is a sociologist and is increasingly skeptical about relationships. However, from the moment she arrives at the wedding, Charly makes it her mission to prove Nico’s letter wrong. After several days of partying, entanglements, and revelations, the threat of a hurricane brings Charly and Nico face to face again, leading them to discover that their love story is far from over.
