When a business magnate seeking transcendence sets out to make a movie, he brings in the best talent that theatre and cinema has to offer: genius director Lola Cuevas, Hollywood star Félix Rivero, and radical stage actor Iván Torres. But as Rivero and Torres’ egos clash under the weight of Cuevas’ eccentric demands, the ambitious project begins to teeter towards an on-screen disaster.

As the ambitious project requires ambitious talent, an accomplished trio is brought in: director and cinematic genius Lola Cuevas (Penélope Cruz), Hollywood superstar Félix Rivero (Antonio Banderas), and cerebral stage actor Iván Torres (Oscar Martínez). But as the egocentric Félix and Iván are pushed to their limits by Cuevas’ eccentric demands, the co-stars find themselves facing off against not only each other, but also against their respective legacies.
