Armageddon

When NASA's executive director, Dan Truman, realizes the Earth has 18 days before it's obliterated by a meteor the size of Texas, he has only one option—enlist the help of roughneck oil driller Harry Stamper and his misfit band of drillers and geologists. Soon Harry and his crew are launched into space. Their mission—drop a nuclear warhead into the meteor's core before it annihilates Earth.
