Ella has it all. She’s a rising interior design star, lives in a magazine-worthy house, and is married to a loving husband. But Ella is a social pariah because...Ella doesn’t want kids. And no one — not her family, friends, nor society — will tolerate it, despite her insistence that she’s happy. As the pressure mounts, Ella learns of a clinical trial where her problem is being looked at as a fertility issue — a chemical imbalance that can be treated with newly-engineered, synthetic hormones and cognitive behavioral therapy. She decides to enroll. Much to her surprise, the treatment starts to work. But the side effects from the medication are making her increasingly paranoid and violent. Ella finally wants kids…but at what cost?
