Sound and Fury

Cookie tries to publicly embarrass Lucious at an event he’s staging to announce his new music project, “Inferno,” and vows to knock him off his throne for good. While at rehab, Jamal has made a new friend in musician Tory Ash, a former iconic pop star with her own highly-publicized history of drug addiction; when Jamal and Tory go missing from the treatment center, Lucious and Cookie fear the worst. As Andre continues his plans to take over Empire, Nessa performs at the music showcase, but when Hakeem and Tiana try to steal her spotlight, the music battle turns physical. Meanwhile, Angelo heads upstate to try and clear his name; Thirsty gets information of interest to Lucious, leading the music kingpin to make a pre-emptive move; and later, Lucious makes a surprising announcement that ruffles feathers at the record label, and leads him and Cookie to engage in an epic clash fueled by a history of love, loyalty and betrayal.
