Saving Venice

Venice, one of the most iconic cities in the world. Distributed over 118 small islands, it seems to lie in the middle of its lagoon like a sleeping beauty in a magnificent and motionless eternity. But from time to time its sleep is disturbed by the sea’s incursions. These are becoming increasingly frequent and violent due the phenomenon of Global Warming and Climate Change. Are these perhaps the first signals of an environmental crisis that will affect the whole planet?
