City Councilman Richmond suspects a leak within his own team, causing a shakeup in his campaign. Sarah and Holder track down a potential witness to the murder and are led to a new suspect. Reporters swoop in on Richmond, asking about his connection to the murder victim and why she was found in one of his campaign cars. He tells them that the young woman’s death has nothing to do with politics. Fellow Councilmember, Ruth Yitanes arrives at the rally and is furious that Richmond didn’t tell her about the Larsen girl and the fact that someone leaked her endorsement of him to the press. She warns him that by the time the press is done with him, he’ll be nothing but the punch line of a dirty joke.
