Horse cracks and takes a stand inside a Job Centre. When the heat of the moment cools and Horse backtracks, a less than innocent bystander, ex squaddie, Miller, decides to take matters into his own hands. Seeing their friend trapped inside a Job Hub with an unpredictable armed man, the Monty Men come to the rescue. In the process, Yvonne, who is engaged to absent Monty Man Guy, discovers that her fiancée is not all he seems.

At the Job Centre, Horse reaches breaking point. He threatens to take drastic action in the hope of drawing attention to what is happening to men like him who have worked all their lives and are now left in old-age without any help. As always, Horse puts other people’s feelings first, and abandons his plan when others are affected by his actions. However, a rogue and unpredictable bystander refuses to let the moment go and suddenly Horse's protest takes a dramatic turn. One by one, the Monty Men pull together to try and save Horse. In the process, Yvonne discovers that Guy has been less than truthful with her. Can the Monty Men do what they do best and save the day?
