“Feeling It” is an intimate portrait of Spanish singer-songwriter Joaquín Sabina without his signature bowler hat, at night and with malice aforethought. Rugged, direct, and unflinching, director Fernando León de Aranoa captures Sabina’s hidden side over 13 years of filming, where the artist steps off the stage to reveal stories of misfortune, comedy, inspiration, and of pain.
Feeling It
“Feeling It” is an up-close portrait of Joaquín Sabina — minus his signature bowler hat, at night and with malice aforethought. As heard through Sabina's own rugged voice, director Fernando León de Aranoa provides an unflinching view into the Spanish singer-songwriter's intimacy to understand his "B-side." The story begins when Sabina exits the stage, and follows him through his day-to-day life, in the unexpected, in laughter and in misfortune. The music documentary is the result of 13 years of Aranoa and Sabina filming together, essentially a backstage pass to the artist's public and private world. A journey through the essence of his life and his work: the things that move him, inspire him, and hurt him.
