“The Serpent and Sister Ophelia” is the chilling story of Ophelia, a young Mexican nun who is sent to the small town of Arquímedes, where she confronts a demonic presence that has invaded the body of a pregnant woman. In this Mexican horror film, Ophelia is a young nun who has recently arrived in the small town of Arquímedes, where she is forced to carry out an exorcism on a pregnant woman after the local priest is overpowered by a demonic presence. When the possession appears to have come to an end, Ophelia discovers that the evil hasn’t left Arquímedes, but rather will attempt to return to the victim’s body over the next 48 hours. Now, Ophelia must do everything possible to stop it, although it will leave her exposed to the forces of evil… she will have to become an Exorcist to face the demon in a battle that will place her own life at risk.
