It's summer holidays and Mika is delighted she can finally go see Ostwind again. Then she discovers strange wounds on Ostwind’s stomach that nobody can explain. To make matters worse, Kaltenbach stables are about to go bust! With a heavy heart Mika decides to enter an eventing tournament that promises a large cash prize. But Ostwind seems distracted during their training sessions and even runs away from her. Mika follows the black stallion deep into the forest, where she’s in for a surprise: a magical white mare appears from the thicket and the two horses gracefully dance together. Suddenly a boy named Milan appears and tells her the mare ran away from him. He says he can help Mika to win the tournament. But what’s the deal with Milan? Can Mika win back Ostwind’s attention, and the tournament, to still save the stables in time?
