My Music, My Roots: Ha*Ash

Hanna and Ashley Perez grew up at the same time, but in extremely different worlds: Mexico City and Louisiana, USA. At a very young age, thanks to their family's mixed background, the sisters spent equal amounts of time on both sides of the border. They think of themselves as bicultural. They will go over some of the most significant moments of their lives, such as the presence of their grandmother, a brave woman who taught them to sing and, above all, instilled in them a great love for their art. This was before achieving what many thought impossible: making Spanish-speaking countries fall in love with country music, a musical genre typical of the United States which had never before been widespread in Latin countries.
