We Sing, We Cry

Pepa, Beli and Lucía live with Toni, Pepa's son and Beli's half-brother. Together, they own a taco food truck that goes from fair to fair. Beli has a talent for singing but could never fulfill her dream. One day, Pepa unwittingly causes a car crash and takes money from the vehicle convinced that the occupants are deceased. However, not only are they alive, but they are dangerous mobsters. The family escapes to the Dominican Republic to start a new life. There, they meet Caro, a lying talent agent that offers to help Beli. Toni kidnaps the dog of a famous music producer, and Caro sees that as an opportunity to show him Beli's talent. Things get complicated when César, the mobster who survived the accident, lands on the Caribbean island to settle scores with Pepa and her family.
