A cat who turns into a young woman helps a journalist protect their town from a factory boss with an evil plan.
Minoes
Minoes is based on the well-known children's book by the same name by Annie M.G. Schmidt. Tibbe is a journalist, but he is about to get fired because of his unspectacular news. While Tibbe worries about a good story, he meets the curious Miss Minoes. She says she used to be a cat. She is indeed quite cat-like: she purrs, she gives cups and can communicate with cats. Tibbe has his doubts about Miss Minoes, but when she, thanks to her cat contacts, helps him with exclusive news so he can keep his job, Tibbe decides to hire her as an assistant. In return, she receives free room and board. The "cat press service" creates headline news for Tibbe, until he publishes a spicy story about local benefactor Mr. Ellemeet. He is in danger of being fired again, but Miss Minoes comes up with a clever plan to prove that Tibbe's story is really correct.
