As The Light Goes Out

Sam, Chiu, and Fai used to be best friends, but their friendship has been strained after an incident a few years ago. When a call comes in regarding a small fire at a winery, the squad responds to what they expect to be a routine job. However, they quickly learn that there is a natural gas pipeline nearby that threatens to plunge Hong Kong into total darkness if it is not shut down. A series of bad decisions are compounded by reckless new colleagues who have more enthusiasm than sense and the fact that a group of boy scouts has also become trapped inside the power station, including Chiu’s son. The firemen find their faith in each other pushed to their limits as they find themselves staring at a fiery death in the face.
