Ah Bee, at the age of thirty, still lives with his mom, Mui. Seeking a future of his own, he signs up as a young Happiness Agent with Tiong Bahru Social Club—a pilot project using data to build the happiest neighborhood in the world in an aging Singaporean district.
On his odyssey through Tiong Bahru Social Club, he moves into the communal house, befriends his Artificial Intelligence algorithm Bravo60, and finds himself in a strange cult of happiness and technology. He is assigned to serve the crazy cat lady Ms. Wee, who is always ready to take advantage of him. Pure at heart, he serves her with distinction. Soon, Ah Bee inherits Ms. Wee’s cat, is matched with a girlfriend, Geok, and is promoted to helm the community Complaint Center.
