Jinong (Kim Raewon), a cold-hearted, workaholic prosecutor, has been searching for his mother’s (Kim Haesook) murderer for seven years. Meanwhile, cases of the Resurrected Victims Phenomenon (RVP), where murder victims come back to life, are being reported around the world. The victims avenge their deaths by killing their unpunished murderers and then disappear. One day, Jinong's mother comes back to life and tries to kill him, making Jinong the prime suspect in her murder.
