A twist of fate puts the youngest daughter-in-law of the Su Family, Hsi Yi-ou, in an unexpected relationship with her mother-in-law who thinks she brings bad luck after the death of her husband and father-in-law. The two enhance their baking skills with the help of Hsu Tai-pai, in order to save their family's business.

Hsi Yi-ou is the youngest daughter-in-law of the Su family. Unfortunately, after she joined the family, her father-in-law and her husband died one after another, making her completely unhappy with her in-laws. The widowed Hsi Yi-ou wishes to sever ties with her in-laws, but a twist of fate makes her get closer to her mother-in-law, Lin Tsai-hsiang. Her mother-in-law is now homeless and in urgent need of help. Hsi Yi-ou and Lin Tsai-hsiang agree to put aside the in-law titles and join hands to save their family's business, Zhenhezhai. The baker, Hsu Tai-pai, helps the two to enhance their baking skills and they successfully save the family's business by joining hands.
