Wilderness guide Tim Andrews sets out to catch and tame the legendary wild horse, Hacksaw, who makes his home in the Canadian Rockies. When a beautiful, although accident - prone, tourist meets Tim while on vacation, he becomes all the more inspired to round up the legendary horse who is "so bad he can chew up nails" and "makes his supper on grizzly tails." But trouble arises when a hard-nosed rancher claims to be Hacksaw's true owner.
