My Music, My Roots: Jota Quest

The members of Jota Quest recall their beginnings in Belo Horizonte, the city where the band was born. There they used to meet, composed their first melodies, became a part of the night scene, and created fake managers to protect the "Funk disco soul" band who refused to sing covers. As they walk through the city to the place where they first had their rehearsals, they will remember how these places became part of the lyrics of their albums, such as "Onibusfobia". Many memories come to mind when they arrive at the band's unofficial headquarters. During 6 years many memories come to mind, such as the hours spent looking for rhythms for samples and how, since the room was so small, Rogério had to sing from outside it.
