After Scott and his family complete the Christmas rounds, he sets a plan in motion for the future of the North Pole, naming Cal the next Santa. Carol and Sandra take on new roles as The Calvins turn the North Pole into a family business. Meanwhile, Betty is hesitant to leave when her turn comes on Kribble Krabble and a Santa fanatic accidentally unleashes the Mad Santa.

Christmas spirit is at an all-time high and Scott sets his sights on the future. It’s Cal’s 18th birthday and Scott names him the next Santa. Carol and the elves are skeptical Scott made the right choice, and Betty has her hands full resisting the rules when it’s her turn to go on Kribble Krabble. Scott appoints Noel for a new role. Carol formalizes her position as protector of the elves, and Sandra is given charge of all the North Pole animals. Meanwhile, Santa fanatic Kris “Kringle” Moreno accidentally unleashes the long-dormant Mad Santa at his failing amusement park Santapolis.
