Cahit, that a suicide attempt led to a psychiatric hospital, knows what it means to "start a new life". Drugs and alcohol mask his pain of living. Sibel is, like Cahit, Turkish-German and she loves life too much for a decent Muslim. In order to escape the prison of a devout and conservative family, she fakes a suicide attempt. But only marriage can save her. She then begged Cahit to marry her. He reluctantly accepted... While she enjoys her new freedom, he occasionally sees an ex-girlfriend and continues to drown his problems in alcohol.
