Murder in The Northern Mines

There are nights when the silent screams of coalminers buried alive during the worst mining catastrophe in Europe that took place in Courrières in 1906 still echo through the abandoned mines of the Coron region. When Police Captain Tess Borski and her family returned to the north of France where she spent her childhood, she believed the bowels of the Earth had closed on the tragedy that devastated the working class at the time. Soon after, Captain Borski and François Dubois, the Police Chief in charge of the investigation squad, face a series of strange crimes that slowly awaken the painful past.
