Murder in Albi

After many years of absence, Annabelle returns to the town where she grew up – Albi in the South of France – with her daughter Pauline, aged 12. The newly promoted police captain is the first woman to become chief of the precinct – much to the displeasure of Marc, who was sure he would get the job. The murder of an elderly farmer is soon followed by the killing of a social worker, plunging Annabelle into an investigation that will lead her to discover her roots.
