Azul and Paula have just lost their mother, Teresa. Amidst uncertainties, Azul discovers that her older sister is actually her mother. With very few resources, they decide to take a trip to Uruguay. Whilst living new experiences, they try to recover their story and build a new bond between mother and daughter, amidst a magical sunset where they can reinvent themselves.
Azul and Paula have just lost their mother, Teresa. The older sister decides to cremate the body, but Azul does not accept it and tries to find money in her mother things to pay for the burial. Looking through the drawers, she finds a photo: in truth, Paula is not her sister, but her mother, and Teresa was her grandmother. Azul is shocked and wants to know about her dad. Paula tells her that he was just a teenage fling. Azul's desire to meet her father and Paula's guilt for lying inspire them to go to Uruguay almost with no resources. As they move through their trip, they recover a little bit of their story and build a new bond. Waiting for them are the adventures of the road and a magical sunset, the ideal scenery for them to reinvent themselves.
