In 1931, a mysterious Japanese coach, Hyotaro Kondo, forms a team regardless of race. It transforms into a team qualified to represent the island at Koshien, Japan’s long-running nationwide high school baseball tournament. The team is KANO. In 1931, a team of future farmers from Chiayi, Taiwan, rewrites the legend with baseball bats and gloves. Shaking the baseball world in Japan and laying the foundations of Taiwan's baseball history, they are the legendary baseball team KANO, officially the Kagi Agricultural baseball team. KANO started as a fitness club.
