The heavenly court finds out she’s the reincarnation of the jinx 800 years ago and decides to take her life before she can wreak havoc to the world. After Jo Gong finds out about this, he puts a spell on her, preventing anybody from taking her life. He believes he can save her soul when she grows up 18 years later.
18 years later, Ji Gong and the other deities get into a quarrel about whether they should take her life. Eventually the deities agree to give Ji Gong 7 days to transform her into a normal person. Ji Gong finds out that several souls reside in her body. Those souls are all her past lives, and they have all died with grudges. To save Xiao Die, Ji Gong must also save these resentful souls.
