Roaring Currents

It is the year 1597, the 6th year into the Japanese invasion of Joseon. Japanese armies are advancing toward Joseon’s capital by land and sea. Due to the Japanese taking advantage of the fractious politics of the Joseon Dynasty, Admiral Yi was impeached and almost put to death. In a feat of desperation, an incompetent naval commander squanders much of Joseon's navy through ill-conceived tactics, losing much of its warships. Admiral Yi is then hastily reinstated as Supreme Commander of the Regional Navies. Joseon navy’s morale was at its lowest, shrouded in fear of the Japanese’s final attack, Joseon is ready to accept their fate. 12 Joseon ships against 330 Japanese ships. Japanese outnumber their opponent in every way possible: weapons, soldiers and morale.
